Fuchsia Magellanica Lady Bacon.
This beautiful fuchsia combines the delicacy of the species bloom with the traditional vigour ( and hardiness!) of the magellanicas.
The flowers ( a sort of red ,white and blue effect) begin in profusion in ear;y summer and are still in demanding attention when the first frosts bite!
Mild winters will enable this to develop tree-like proportions so space can be an issue.
However,hard pruning in late winter will be rewarded with the usual bountiful display in Summer and Autumn!
